The R&D Cell of the department of English organised a project presentation for the third year students at 10:25 AM on 23 August 2023. Anasooya Thorakkattu of 2020-23 batch made a presentation based on her UG project titled "Whither Truth? A Post-Truth Critique of the Docuseries House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths".

The R&D cell of the Department of English conducted a workshop on Research Writing for the third year students on 4 August 2023 in the III BA English classroom. It was led by Aparna B, research scholar.

Presentation on Milan Kundera’s Laughable Loves Bookscape – Reader’s Club of the Department of English organised a presentation commemorating Milan Kundera on 31st July 2023. Kundera was a writer of great genius and his recent demise is a huge loss to the world of literature. On behalf of the Department of English, Neha Sreekumar and Amegha Biju of third BA English paid homage to the magnificent writer through a presentation on his collection of short stories, Laughable Loves.

As part of the pride month celebrations, the Radio club of the Postgraduate and Research Department of English organized the Recitation Competition on LGBTQ themes at 12. 30 pm in the II BA English classroom. The winners are: first prize-Renna Fathima( III BA English)Second prize-Angel Theresa Biju( II B A English) andThird prize- Adiya Das( III HRM)

As part of Reading day observation, the Radio club of the Postgraduate and Research Department of English organized the ' Feel and Read challenge" at 1 pm in the II year B.A English classroom. Participants read the brief excerpts from Vaikom Muhammed Basheer's novel " Premalekanam" and Tennessee Williams' play ' The Glass Menagerie' .
