The college, in association with Royal Driving School, West Hill, Kozhikode has been arranging two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving classes for the students of the college since 2018. Infrastructural assistance is provided by the institution for the students to appear for their learner’s test. The computers in the computer lab of the Dept. of Computer Science can be used for the purpose.

The students are required to bring the following documents for enrolment to the driving classes.

  1. Two passport size photos
  2. SSLC to prove date of birth or birth certificate (either original or color copy)
  3. Aadhar card (either original or color copy)
  4. A white paper with
  5. a) Signature (leave enough space around the signature so that a clear scan is possible)
  6. b) Blood group
  7. c) Phone number
  8. d) Choices: Two wheeler with/without gear or Four wheeler

The fee structure is as follows.

  • 12,000/- for two wheeler and four wheeler together plus 150/- per half an hour for two wheeler practice
  • Two wheeler only — Rs. 3000/-
  • Four wheeler only- Rs. 10000/-

The students shall get their time schedule for practical and theory classes according to their convenience and the availability of the chief coach Mr. Shine Kumar, Proprietor, Royal Driving School. The school allows for fee concession to the needy. The timings for on-road practical classes are fixed in such a way that the students shall utilize the time they take to travel to college from their nearest bus stations in the morning before regular classes begin at 9.15 am every working day. They will be picked up by the driving school’s vehicle from their nearest bus stops and they will be trained to drive their way to college. Also, in the evenings, after class they can drive back to the spot they are picked up from. The skill coordinator Dr. Shanthi Vijayan, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English is in charge of coordinating the affairs of the class with Mr. Shine Kumar.
