The Department of Economics started functioning in 1957 with a B.A Degree Course with History and Economics double mains. The department aims to build up a group of students committed to the common pursuit of moral, intellectual and academic excellence and to facilitate the personal growth of the students by making then better citizens contributing towards the growth of our economy.
