RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION & PRODUCTION 

Ensuring proper use of resources, reducing energy consumption, improving energy efficiency, and providing access to basic services, improving the quality of life for all

  • Ensuring minimal Food waste : Student council leaders are entrusted to look around for students who are in the habit of wasting food, and insisting on sharing the part with others
  • Inculcating habit of post harvest losses : The students are inspired to participate in the vegetable garden establishment and ensuring distribution of the products on a daily basis
  • Sharing unused solar energy to other consumers : The solar energy is passed on to the State electricity board for its consumers
  • Promoting use of LED bulbs and tubes to reduce energy consumption : LED bulbs and Solar Study lamps are being made by students to make the habit of reducing energy consumption, a regular feature
  • Reusing waste and converting them into useful products
